On this episode Thom and Craig welcome Leigh Ringgold, a senior configuration manager for PLM, to take a look at effective configuration management from one of the largest and most unlikely manufacturers in the world — Facebook. Leigh Ringgold is the Senior Product Configuration Manager at Facebook.  Having entered the PLM industry back when things like ASK Manman and blueprints were all the rage, Leigh has been instrumental largely in start-up through sustaining environments. From medical with breakthrough MRI technology to the past 4.5 years having been spent in a very dynamic team supporting Facebook Infrastructure which comprises four different industries from Data Center construction and complex Compute/Storage Racks; Network and global connectivity products which are the foundation of our business Apps and mission. 


Leigh is a cross functional leader who recognizes business requirements through production having supported Core Internet Routers with Cisco Systems then developing the first PLM team at start-up Juniper Networks.
